peekadoodle prep: 20 Months+

Beginning at 20 months, our Prep preschool preparedness program is designed for our youngest students as a way to expose children to school, play, and peers. Often a first-time drop-off, the Peekadoodle Prep environment is intentionally nurturing, and created in a way that allows young toddlers to explore a world outside of the home and begin to develop their “school self”. Our dedicated and educated teachers prepare and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that is soothing, engaging, and promotes social-emotional development. Extended care options are available.

With small class sizes, students have ample one-on-one attention while they also begin to become interested in moving beyond parallel play. Parents are updated daily regarding their child’s experience in class, and enrollment follows the quarter system.

Peekadoodle Academy: 27 months+

Peekadoodle Academy follows the traditional academic school calendar and serves students ages 27 months to 5+ years old. The Academy program has four preschool classes that progress through the age groups during our part-time, morning program. Our youngest students attend school for three hours each morning while our Pre-K (T-K) students attend six hour days. The school day progressively lengthens as they move through the program to allow for deeper exploratory investigations. Early drop off (8:00am) and extended care until 3:30pm or 5:30pm are available.

As our students approach Kindergarten, teachers prepare them for their future classroom environment, keeping in mind academic expectations and social-emotional opportunities for growth.

Parents are updated daily regarding their child’s experiences in class, and our preschool director provides one-on-one and group consulting surrounding Kindergarten admissions.
